Your eyes must be really tired! It’s time to bring that circulation to the area and relieve a headache, eye strain, and sinus pressure.
Start by closing your eyes and placing your thumbs under the eyebrows. Place your thumb in the inside corner of the eye socket, press, and gently move the thumbs in circles working towards the outsides of the eyebrows.
Spend some extra time where the bridge of the nose meets the ridge of the eyebrows, and repeat several times.
How to get rid of a stress caused headache?
First of all, take a deep breath and try to relax. Think about your breathing technique only and try to stay in this calming state of mind for a while. Then, place your thumbs on your cheekbones, really close to your ears and gently apply pressure with your fingertips on the soft spot between the corner of your eye and your ear.
The motion should be tiny and circular. You should be able to gradually move your fingers up along your hairline until they meet in the middle of your forehead.
Can massage relieve a migraine?
If you are experiencing migraine, deep tissue massage therapy might be the best choice. The strokes are slow, the pressure is deep and it can be applied to specific areas in the body to relieve muscle tension.
Use your middle fingers to knead the corners of the forehead inside the hairline, and repeat this move 30 times.
Then, firmly wipe the temple of the affected side 20 times. Nip and knead the back of forearm 2-finger-breadths above the wrist. Repeat 30 times on each side.
